Samsung’s latest Windows laptop, a rival to the MacBook, is now on sale in India: Check out the price and features.

Samsung has launched its new MacBook competitor in the Indian market, the Galaxy Book 4 laptop, which runs on the Windows 11 operating system. Samsung has other Galaxy Book laptops available in the country, but the vanilla Book 4 model focuses on being premium without burning a deep hole in the wallet. It has an AMOLED display, weighs less than 1.6 kg, and has the latest Intel Ultra processors.

Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Price in India

The Samsung Galaxy Book 4 has been launched in India for the Intel Core Ultra 5 model with 8GB RAM at a starting price of Rs 74,990. If you go for the same Intel processor with 16GB RAM, the price will be Rs 79,990 and if you get the Intel Core Ultra 7 variant with only 16GB RAM, it will cost Rs 89,990.

Samsung Galaxy Book 4: What the MacBook competitor has to offer

As we mentioned, the Galaxy Book 4 has a 15.6-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Samsung offers the laptop with Intel Core Ultra 5 or 7 processors, up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of expandable SSD storage.

The laptop has a 720p webcam, two speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos, and Windows 11. It has a fingerprint scanner and Windows 11 comes with the Hello security feature. You get basic ports like USB C, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, HDMI and even a microSD card reader. The laptop weighs just 1.55 kg, which is a rarity in a sub-Rs 90,000 range.

While these specs give the MacBook a run for its money, the latest Intel Core Ultra processors can’t compare to Apple’s M-series silicons. However, Apple’s new Macs now cost well over a lakh, and if you’re looking for a Windows laptop under six figures, Samsung could be one of the many options for you.
